"Whatever is commanded by the God of Heaven, let it be done in full for the house of the God of Heaven." -Ezra 7:1
Church & Grounds
Below you will find four different ways to volunteer for church building and grounds upkeep.
Church Cleaning
The "Church Cleaning Group" is concerned with the worship environment of the church. The members meet once a month (usually the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:30–11:30am) to dust, vacuum, mop, remove trash, and to do any other tasks necessary to create clean surroundings conducive to worship. All materials required for these tasks are supplied. For more information, contact Ed Von Hagel by clicking on this link:

Garden Angels
The "Garden Angels" perform a humble but vital work for the parish: grounds care. They do lawn and garden maintenance, grounds clean-up, and take care of other tasks which arise. All the necessary tools and gloves are provided. The Garden Angels usually work on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of the month from 9am to 12pm. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed. Liturgical Decorations
Decorations are used in the church to highlight and correspond to particular celebrations, feasts or the liturgical season. Because St. Dominic’s is a large church, it is most helpful when many parishioners/volunteers work together to accomplish the tasks, especially to decorate for Christmas and Easter. Decorating tasks include the placement of plants, flowers, hangings, changing of altar cloths, cleaning; and the preparation of sanctuary items for use in the liturgy. All time and effort given by volunteers is greatly appreciated! To volunteer, email Ed Von Hagel using the following link:
