We are called to order all temporal affairs to the kingdom of God. As a help, the Church offers blessings upon persons for special occasions, and on the various goods of creation we use in our lives (upon homes and buildings, transportation vehicles, religious items, animals, tools, etc.). Parishioners are encouraged to invite a priest over for the blessing of their home. This can be done annually. You are also encouraged to seek blessings from the priests or deacons of the Church for other things. Call us at 202-554-7863.
