Faith is a gift of God.  It is a graced personal entrustment to God through His risen Son, Jesus Christ.  It is also an embracing of all that God reveals and gives, which includes the Church which is called Catholic.  St. Dominic Church is the local Catholic church for the southwest quadrant of Washington, DC, under the Archdiocese of Washington, and in union with the bishop of Rome, the pope, who is the successor of St. Peter on whom Jesus built His Church.  We invite and welcome you to this Christian Catholic community of faith here at St. Dominic.
